My Cute Christmas Tree (Part 2)

Glitter Deer Ornament
Glitter Deer from Hema

Yesterday I showed you some of the cuteness that is in my Christmas tree. I had too many pictures to share in one post though, so here is some more tree love!

Gingerbread Man Ornament
Gingerbread Man Ornament from BubbleDog (Etsy)

I bought this cute Gingerbread Man on Etsy last week. It managed to arrive from the USA in a record time of 2 days! It's so cute, and it was very afforable too! Get one for yourself here.

Bird Ornament

Bird Ornaments from Søstrene Grene

I bought these adorable birds at Søstrene Grene twi years ago, so I doubt they still have them. I couldn't check this year, because that store is always SO crowded in December, and it was Friday afternoon when I was near there, so I decided to skip it.

Matryoshka Ornament
Matryoshka Ornament from Accessorize

I showed you this one (and her little baby) last week when I bought it. It's looking cute in my tree, don't you think?

Christmas Tree

My favorite gone-wrong picture ever. My camera didn't focus properly, clearly. I love it anyway though!

Happy Christmas Eve everyone!

My Cute Christmas Tree (Part 1)

Gnome Ornament
Gnome Ornament from Notre Dame

My Christmas tree is looking cuter than ever this year! These are pictures of some of my favorite ornaments.

Cupcake Ornament

These cute cupcakes came in a set of four. There's another one of each color. I spotted them when I went to buy some plyers at a Dutch DIY store. I spent more time looking at their Christmas stuff than at the plyers.

Bird Ornament

These cute birdies were also a set of two. There's also a red one. Hema always has the best Christmas goodies. So much color! Much like everything else they sell really.

Wooden Deer Ornament

This suuuuper cute wooden deer is my latest tree addition. And my favorite at the moment.

Christmas Tree Overview

I had a hard time taking pictures of the entire tree, but here you go! As you can see, it's not the "everything matches" type, but the "everything is cute and colorful" type. That's matching enough for me.

What is your tree like? All in one color? Or is it a mix and match of colors and shapes like mine? Is it a real tree, or do you have a fake? Mine is a black fake one. I wish I had a white one now though, I love all the white trees I see everywhere!

I have some more ornament close ups, which I will be posting tomorrow.

Last Minute Gift Ideas

No Gifts For The People In My Life (Maybe You Know Someone Like Them) - Giftguide today, as it's probably too late to order Christmas gifts online right now. Instead, I have some last minute gift ideas for you!

Image via WeHeartIt

♥ A home made gingerbread house!

When I was younger, my grandma once made me a gingerbread house. I loved it, and still remember it with a smile :) I wish I had a picture of it.

♥ A gift certificate

Gift certificates might seem a little unoriginal, but in the end I think everyone loves them. They give the gift of shopping! Why not get a DaWanda voucher, to share some handmade love? They can be used in any DaWanda shop, and are available from €10 to €150.

Of course it's not too late to still go shopping. If you would like something handmade or unique, make sure to wander away from the main shopping street or mall. Side streets often have the cutest little shops, with lots of handmade prettiness.

Snow

Some pictures I took recently...

Snow Post

Sending packages that need to be refrigerated would not be a problem these days...

It might be a bit cold for a picnic...

But at least I am dressed up warm with my woolly hat!

Warm & Woolly

Snow snow snow. I love it. I hope it will still look like this at Christmas! Did you get a lot of snow where you live too?

Vacation!

It's been a busy year for me, and especially a very busy December! I am super excited about all those little Tizzalicious packages under Christmas trees all over the world. A big thank you to everyone who has bought their Christmas presents at Tizzalicious!

Now it's time for me to start relaxing though. Tomorrow I will close the shop for the Holidays. You will still be able to place an order at Tizzalicious.com & DaWanda, but those orders will be shipped when I am back on December 29th. The Etsy shop will have the Holiday message put up, which means you won't be able to order there at all, so make sure to get your last orders in while you still can.

I will be spending the Holidays with my boyfriends' family in his parents' house in the Danish country side. Sounds like the perfect setting for Christmas, right? New Years eve will be spent with a little party at home, with friends.

What are your plans for the Holidays?

Tizzalicious Jewelry Modeled by Sailor Cherry

Model Sailor Cherry e-mailed me some time ago, telling me she would love to model some of my products at an upcoming photoshoot. I loved the idea of course!

These stunning images by photographer Emily Jane are the result. What do you think? I love seeing my products modeled by a professional model. These pictures are so much better than the shots of my neck wearing a necklace!

You can find the entire set of photos on Facebook.

I am looking forward to working with models & photographers more often in the future. If you are a model or photographer and you are interested in doing a shoot for Tizzalicious, please contact me at info@tizzalicious.com.

Gifts For The People In My Life (Maybe You Know Someone Like Them) - Gift Guide

When I'm doing my Christmas shopping, I always come across gifts that would be perfect for someone I know, but which, for one reason or another, I end up not getting them. In the "Gifts For The People In My Life (Maybe You Know Someone Like Them) - Gift Guide", I share those finds, so maybe they can make the perfect gift for someone you know.
A gift for: My soon to be born Nephew
Age: Minus one month
Profile: So he isn't born yet, but by the time it's Christmas, my sister will be 8 months pregnant, and I just can't resist looking for baby cuteness!

A gift for: My boyfriend Per
Age: 24
Profile: Student, and a typical one at that. He loves beer, movies & gadgets. He's funny and doesn't mind a little provocation/political incorrectness in his jokes. Don't worry, he's not serious when he's being offending. Other things he loves are coffee, doing random stuff online and watching geeky TV shows like Star Trek.

A gift for: My cousin Eefje
Age: 30
Profile: Eefje is a nurse, and likes to be organized and tidy. She recently started studying again. She loves everything pink, red, striped and polka dotted. Can you tell why we get along?

A gift for: My dad
Age: 48
Profile: My dad is quite the handyman. He loves making things, especially around the house. Other things he enjoys are going on Holidays and walking in the mountains with my mom. He is also a very tidy and organized person, he hates mess!

Gift Wrapping

Gift Wrapped with Paper Chain

I used the strips for paper chains I mentioned on Friday to decorate my Christmas gifts. Doesn't it look cute? I especially love how this one with the gingham paper and gingerbread men turned out.

Gift Wrapped with Paper Chain

Have you wrapped your gifts yet? Do you try to make them look special, or do you just use some nice Christmas paper? I have seen some great tutorials for the most amazing packaging, and I would love to try them out, but in the end I don't have the patience for it!
