Yellow Happiness

I am wearing my brand new yellow skirt (bought yesterday!) today, combined with a grey cardigan. I love the color combination, and it inspired me to make a grey & yellow set on Polyvore. What do you think?

Back With New Goodies!

Thanks so much for all the sweet comments, here and on Twitter, about my migraines! It's been a rough couple of weeks, and I don't feel completely well yet, but there is definitely an improvement, so I am back!

I haven't been sitting entirely still these past 2 weeks either. I often felt semi-okay in the evenings, and I spent that time editing pictures and adding new goodies to the shop:

Cute hairclips to match the brooches I mentioned before. I love how these turned out, they are so sweet! I also added 2 more of those brooches by the way!

Two sets of heart magnets. I only have one set of the pink ones, so make sure you get it before it's sold out.

A bracelet! I really need to make more of those, the bracelet category at Tizzalicious.com is looking awfully empty.

And last but not least, this keychain/bag hanger with skull ribbon and various charms. I will definitely be making more of those, because it's so much fun to do!

Migraines & Work

Amigurumi Happy Pill by Cute Designs

Aargh, I'm having the worst migraine week! It's been bad all week, and the worst part of it is, my meds don't have any effect! I woke up with a migraine every day this week. Some days it got better by the end of the day, so I have managed to get a few things done, but mainly I have just spent my time sleeping and lying on the couch.

At times like this I am happy I have my own business. I hate packing orders when I don't feel good, but it's got to be so much better than having to work in an office! At least I can wait until I feel semi-okay, like in the evening this past week.

I still have dreams (nightmares!) about when I was still in school, had migraines all the time, and just felt miserable in class. I was always behind on homework too, so it was a very stressful time for me. I hate reliving those days in my dreams.

Do you ever have the still-in-school dream? It seems like a lot of people do!

A Quarter Past Tweet

I needed a new watch for a while, so when I spotted this geeky social networks one at Normal Watches, I just had to buy it.

It came in the mail today, and I love it. It's slightly big for me, as I have kiddy sized wrists. I should have known it wouldn't fit when I bought it (my old watch was an actual kid-size one), but I loved it too much. I guess I'll have to wear it as a chunky watch, in an old-skool kind of way, with a funky T-shirt?

Kokeshi Housewares

I love finding cuteness in cheap stores! I got this kokeshi lunchbox and matching napkins at Tiger, which is a cheap cheap cheap store you can find all over Denmark. They have shops in some other countries (like Holland! I never knew!) too. You can find a list here.

I always have a hard time using pretty things that will run out, but napkins are meant to be used, right? Luckily the lunchbox will stay. It has a nice spot on my desk, holding the products for my shop that still need to be listed.

What's the last thing you bought? I actually did a little internet shopping the other day, but I will wait showing you that until it got here.

This was definitely a slow month. I did get 3 wholesale orders though, so that makes up for the slowness a little.

My goals for April were:

♥ Work on a new plan for advertising & promoting
♥ Work out with Wii Fit a lot!

I added a LOT of the new items, but I still have quite a few left. I also completely failed at the working out thing. I did make a new plan for advertising though. The ads started running on May 1, so I can't say much about it yet, but so far it looks promising.

Goals for April:

♥ Finish adding all the new items
♥ Work out!
♥ Reach 500 Facebook Fans
♥ Finish sorting my bookmarks
