Gifts For The People In My Life (Maybe You Know Someone Like Them) - Gift Guide
Over the last few weeks I have posted things I found on Etsy & DaWanda that I thought would make great gifts for the people in my life. Of course I couldn't show the things I actually ended up buying, because they might have seen, but now Christmas is over, I can show the fantastic things I bought!
This passport cover was a gift for my bird loving fbriend Nina. She is a flight attendant, so she will make good use of it!
I knew I had to get this beer bottle opener belt buckle for my boyfriend as soon as I saw it. He's been using it a lot!
These cute fluffy monster earrings went to my boyfriend's 17 year old sister. She loved them. And so do I! We bought her a matching key ring too.
That was just a little peek of the gifts I bought. I'd show you more, but I still need to give some of the gifts, so I can't show those yet!

HTML On The Brain
Thanks everyone for the replies to my question about my new site layout. Everyone seemed to think it was very clear, so I have started creating the new pages. I have typed & edited so much HTML this weekend that I am surprised I didn't dream in code.
I am making great progress though. I have edited the 2 largest sections in the shop (earrings & necklaces), so the biggest part of the work is done. I hope I will be able to launch the new version of the site, with the new shopping cart, in a few days.
After that I will start working on the Dutch translation. I think it will help me generate more sales in the Netherlands. I only have a handfull of them now, and I am hoping that will change once I have the website translated to Dutch, and I will be accepting iDeal payments. IDeal is a Dutch payment gateway that connects shops directly to a couple of the largest banks in the Netherlands. It seems to be getting quite popular.
I can't wait for all this to be done though. My hands are itching to make some new things, and I have goodies to add to the shop too! I want the site done first though, I don't like being half done with something like this. I guess that's why I have been working on it so much non-stop since I started it!

Website Help Needed: Is This Clear?
I discovered a fantastic new shopping cart system the other day: Mal's Cart. It can calculate shipping rates based on location & weight, can handle different currencies, you can change the layout, and it's free! In other words: Exactly what I'm looking for, and a huge improvement from the paypal buttons I am using now.
I really want to use the multi-currency thing, so I have been playing around with the layout of my site a bit, and here's what I came up with:
Now this is where I need your help. Is this clear? What do you think you need to do to add something to your cart? What would you do first? And do you think it's confusing or is it something you wouldn't think twice about?
The boyfriend says it's not very clear, but 2 of my Twitter friends say it is, so I need more opinions. It would be great if you could help me out and answer before looking at what other people replied. Thanks so much!
Edit: I think I'd better make clear that the prices are just examples, the dollar price will not be cheaper than the euro price on the actual site (and this ring is actually a lot cheaper too!). I should have though that that might confuse people. Thanks everyone who answered so far!

Age: 29
Profile: Eefje is a nurse, and likes to be organized and tidy. She loves everything pink, red, striped and polka dotted. Can you tell why we get along?
A gift for: My penpals
Profile: I have quite a few penpals, and one thing they all have in common is their love for cute stationery, stickers and stamps.
A gift for: My sister Lieke
Age: 24
Profile: Lieke is a secretary at a law firm, She loves shopping, especially for bags & shoes! She isn't into colorful clothing, and likes things that aren't too "weird".

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas
With all the stress around Christmas concerning my shop and the big Christmas rush, I would almost forget that the actual holidays are still to come. I have had Christmas on the brain for over a month now, but the Christmas mood wasn't really there yet.
Tonight, however, while I'm sitting here sipping hot chocolate with the lights in the Christmas tree on, some candles lit, and Hanson's Christmas Album "Snowed In" playing, everything suddenly feels a lot more like Christmas!
Do you like our tree? It's full of colorful birdies and other random ornaments. The little bird with the earmuffs (or headphones?) is definitely one of my favorites. I also love this gold, pink & red one I bought at Hema last year though. Can't go wrong with Hema!
What puts you in Christmas mood? Do you like any Christmas music? I am a true Christmas fan, and I love everything about it. The decorations outside, the tackier the better, the music, everything. I have to say I am not a big fan of random R&B music with the words "santa" or "jingle bells" squeezed in somewhere in the lyrics to make it pass as a Christmas song. Christmas songs should be old and cozy, not new and sexy.

Tool & Work Space Organizer From Aldi
My dad was nice enough to pass a nasty flu onto me, so I have spent the last few days sneezing, blowing my nose, and shivering. A girl's got to eat though, so yesterday I dragged my miserable self down to the shops to buy some necessities (Read: Fruit, juice and soup), and I am happy I did, because look what I found at Aldi!
A perrrrfect Tool & Work Space organizer! Being the organizing freak that I am, you can imagine how excited I got when I found it! I had been looking for something like this in a reasonable size and at a reasonable price for a while, so this is just perfect.
I have everything I use a lot right in front of me now, which makes life so much easier. As I like to be organized, I have tons of boxes with all kinds of stuff, which means everything is nicely packed away, but it does take a up a lot of time when you need things from 10 different boxes!
So here's what my desk looks like now! (Okay, here's what it looked like after I tidied it yesterday. Of course it's covered with all kinds of crap again by now!) You can see my new Blythe doll too! You can see and read all about her in my Blythe blog, but in case you don't feel like going there, here's a little preview:
Her name is Nerys, which is Star Trek (Deep Space 9) inspired. That probably makes me a huge geek, and people are probably wondering what in the world is wrong with me, playing with dolls and watching Star Trek, but to each his (her) own, right? Anyone else have any weird hobbies?
