That Time Of The Month aka Crazy Migraine Week

Excuse the lack of a proper update today. It's that time of the month, which in my case could also be called "Crazy Migraine Week".

As you might or might not know, I suffer from chronic migraines. They are bad enough as it is, but when it's time for my womanly stuff my hormones go crazy and decide to give me migraines that not even the strongest meds can fight, not even the dreaded but usually oh so helpful imitrex injections.

Anyway, I should be back soon with:

♥ Seasonal Saturday
♥ A brand new Cute Craftster of the Week
♥ Excitement about a wholesale orders
♥ Stories about my crazy shopping spree this week
♥ The "Gifts for the people in my life, maybe you know someone like them" gift guide

P.S. Don't you just love Abitabite's prick cushions? I neeeeed one of the uterus ones!

  1. Get well soon Tizz. I had one of those days yesterday and had a high profile event to front at work, I nipped to the toilet and had an unexpected lady surprise early! Grrr being a girl has it's downsides!

  2. Eeeeps! I get migraines myself. For awhile, I was averaging about 3-4 per month. I saw a neurologist who put me on Nadalol to help prevent the headaches in the first place. It seems to be working (*knock wood*). I had Imitrex for the breakthrough ones for awhile, but it stopped working :(. Now I'm on Maxalt. So far, so good on that one. Anyway, I certainly empathize!

  3. I get the same and have a couple of cluster migraines a month - ie 6 attacks or more, mainly brought on by hormones. SO I feel for you. I suffered for 15 years without medication working and then I tried Relpax - my world has changed, I am a new woman......
    Take care

  4. I use to get migraines a lot when I was younger but thankfully I haven't had really bad ones for a few years. I still get the odd one, but sitting in the dark helps me. I hope yours goes away soon. They are never nice things to get :/

  6. Sorry to hear about the migraine. Hope it will get better soon. And that uterus pincushion? I'm not sure. Original and pink, but a bit disturbing. I'm not sure if i would want that next to my sewingmachine ;)

  8. Oh my gosh! I've never met anyone else who dubbed that time of the month *Migraine Week* like I do! I feel your pain...I really do. Hope we can both find a way to manage it. <3
