That Time Of The Month aka Crazy Migraine Week

Excuse the lack of a proper update today. It's that time of the month, which in my case could also be called "Crazy Migraine Week".

As you might or might not know, I suffer from chronic migraines. They are bad enough as it is, but when it's time for my womanly stuff my hormones go crazy and decide to give me migraines that not even the strongest meds can fight, not even the dreaded but usually oh so helpful imitrex injections.

Anyway, I should be back soon with:

♥ Seasonal Saturday
♥ A brand new Cute Craftster of the Week
♥ Excitement about a wholesale orders
♥ Stories about my crazy shopping spree this week
♥ The "Gifts for the people in my life, maybe you know someone like them" gift guide

P.S. Don't you just love Abitabite's prick cushions? I neeeeed one of the uterus ones!

Advent Calendar Sale on DaWanda

DaWanda is having an advent calendar sale! Each day shops that are participating have 10% off everything in the category of the day. Today's category is Jewelry, and I am participating, so if you have been eyeing some of my jewelry, today is the day to buy it! You can find my DaWanda shop here.

If you are not familiar with shopping on DaWanda, it the following things might be useful to know:

♥ Prices in DaWanda are in Euro's. If you aren't from Europe, and would like to know what the prices would be in your currenct, I suggest using to convert.
♥ Paypal will convert the money automatically, so it's no problem if your paypal balance or credit card are in dollars.
♥ After purchasing an item the seller has to confirm the sale.
♥ The seller can adjust the shipping when confirming the sale, so if the seller says they will combine shipping, ignore the shipping quote you get when you place the order, and look at the one after you got the confirmation.

If you have any other questions, about buying or selling on DaWanda, feel free to ask them!

Oh, and before I forget, I added this cute Gingerbreadgirl necklace the other day. Isn't she adorable? Available on, Etsy & DaWanda of course.

Sewing Blythe Dresses & More New Christmas Goodies

Marilyn (Pulp Sushi) pointed out that I needed to come up for some air on Friday. Good point, I was in definite need of some relaxation! So I decided to stop my crazy holiday crafting & preparing for a bit during the weekend, and get out my sewing machine to sew some Blythe dresses.

I made a suuuuper cute Angel & Devil dress set, feel free to have a peek in my Blythe Blog to see them! Technically I was still working, as I do have my Tinylicious Blythe Shop, but work is different when it includes playing with dolls, right?

Monday was back to the Christmas To Do list, I added a bunch of new things to the shops (, Etsy & DaWanda), like this cute teapot ornament. It comes in purple too.

I also spent some time getting organized, which definitely helped reduce my stress levels. I feel like I got a whole lot done in one day, and my to do list is looking a lot shorter now.

Today is going to be a good one, I'm going shopping with the boyfriend!

Get Eurofied!

A great way to promote your shop, or to get to know new shops and have a little taste of their products is through a sampler box! There are quite a few of them out there, but I want to talk about one of them in particular today: Get Eurofied!

Why does Get Eurofied get my special attention? Because they are based in Europe, like me! All participants are from Europe, so if you would like to support indie designers from Europe, buying a Get Eurofied box would be a great option.

If you aren't from Europe, don't panic! We Europeans love show our goodies to the rest of the world too of course, so it doesn't matter where you live, the boxes will be shipped everywhere.

Some examples of the kind of samples you may find in the Get Eurofied boxes are: bath and body, candles, bookmarks, candy, stationery, toys, paper arts, fashion accessories, teas, food, gift certificates, magnets, pens, hair products, jewelry and more! The boxes are different each month.

The Get Eurofies Holiday Sample boxes are $15 and will go on sale on December 1st, and will contain at least 20 samples from different European sellers. You will be able to buy them at the Get Eurofied Etsy store.

For more information about the boxes, visit the Get Eurofied website.

Christmas at Tizzalicious!

Christmas Goodies
Tizzalicious Christmas Collection now available at, Etsy & DaWanda

My update today is a little later than usual, because I spent all morning working on my inventory. I remade everything that was low in stock over the last few days. My Christmas to do list is getting smaller and smaller!

As you can see, my shop is starting to look more Christmassy every day! As always, you can find everything on, Etsy & DaWanda. My Etsy & DaWanda shops have special Christmas sections, not all of these are in that section though, some of them are in their normal categories.

I will probably spent the rest of the day glueing a few more things, packing some packages and reading blogs. My feed reader now simply says I have 1000+ posts to read, I guess it feels that after a 1000 it's so many that it doesn't really matter anymore. Oops? I promise I will catch up soon though, and I will also visit all new visitors who left comments. Thanks everyone, I really appreciate all the nice comments! ♥

Book Review: The Naughty Secretary Club

Naughty Secretary Club Book

Even though I buy a lot of books, those usually aren't tutorial hor how-to books. I love them, but if I don't know how to do something, or I want to learn something, I usually just look it up online, because most of the time that's quicker and easier, plus I love video tutorials.

I couldn't resist The Naughty Secretary Club by Jennifer Perkins though. The book is packed with jewelry making techniques, tips and ideas. Jennifer runs her own succesful shop too, and it's always great to get advice from a succesful colleague!

I love the original way the book is written, and when I finished reading it I felt inspired to try a whole bunch of new techniques. It's definitely a book worth having, so put it on your Christmas wishlist everyone!

New: Santa Loves Pink (Christmas Ornaments)

Pink Christmas Ornaments
Santa Loves Pink Christmas Ornaments - Available at, Etsy & DaWanda

Things are starting to get Christmassy here! I have been working like a mad woman to get all the things on my "Finish before the Christmas shopping rush" to do list. I started with adding some ornaments to the shop. I thought I'd go for pink, instead of making them in traditional Christmas colors!

Pink Christmas Ornaments
Santa & Chicken Christmas Ornaments - Available at, Etsy & DaWanda

SOme other things on my Christmas To Do list are: Making sure all my items are listed at DaWanda & Etsy, adding some more Christmas themed goodies and making more inventory.

Do You Want To Own The Hour?

Screenshot by Glamasaurus

Have you heard of Own The Hour? No? Neither did I until a few days ago. Own The Hour is a brand new way to advertise for Etsy shops. You purchase a slot, and your item will show up for the hour(s) that you selected. The slots are only $0.50 each, so I decided to give it a try, and purchased a few slots for tomorrow (Saturday).

Own The Hour purchases ad space on various popular blogs, but of course it wouldn't hurt if we help them spread the word! So stumble, tweet and blog about this great new showcase for indie artists!

Did you mean Pizzalicious?

Whenever I search for "Tizzalicious" on google, it asks me "Did you mean pizzalicious?". I didn't, but today I decided to click and see what I would get if I would have...Pizza cones!

I don't quite know what to think about it. My first thought was that the topping (filling?) is very burn your mouth prone. I'm not really a fan of lots of cheese on my pizza either, so I don't think it would be the pizza for me, but I still wanted to share this pizzaliciousness.

Are those common anywhere in the world? Have you ever seen one before?

I really feel like having some pizza now! Not one of these, but just a nice pineapple & sundried tomatoes one. What are your favorite pizza toppings? Anything I must try?

Alright, enough with the pizza talk! Let's switch back to the subject of google. Does it give you any weird siggestions when you search for your name or shop name?

Aside from the Pizzalicious suggestion, I get a lot of posts from forums I am or used to be active in, and when I search for my own name I find a list of people who were members of the Dutch Hanson Fanclub back in 1997! Nothing is a secret on the internet.

New in the shop: Blythe Holiday Cards

Blythe Holiday Cards

I can't believe I didn't show you my Blythe holiday cards yet! They are available on Etsy (both in my Tizzalicious & Tinylicious Etsy shops), DaWanda and of course

I wanted to make Blythe holiday cards with just one of my images, but it was a picture I took last year, and I didn't have the super high resolution picture anymore, so I couldn't use it to fill the entire card. I still really wanted to offer them in my shop though, so I decided to make a little collage with them.

They come in sets of 6, with 6 matching red envelopes. The back is plain white.

I got some made for myself too, those have a printed back with a discount code. I am sending them along with all orders I get the coming 2 months. Will you be sending along anything special with your Christmas orders?

Me & My Microphone (aka How to pronounce Maartje!)

I have a little extra update for you today! I have gotten a lot of questions about how to pronounce my real name, Maartje. It's impossible to explain without hearing it, so I decided to make a recording. So here is me, saying my name!

I hope that worked. Enjoy!

P.S. Please ignore horrible voice & weird accent!

DaWanda Wednesday: Piv Cat

Time for a brand new DaWanda find! Piv Cat from Sao Paulo, Brazil, has paper goodies, plush and more, and is almost too cute to be true!
