I was interviewed for a South African newspaper called "Die Burger" last month. I tried to not get too excited about it, in case it wouldn't get published, so I didn't mention it before. But here it is!!!!!
I'm squeeing about it like there's no tomorrow.
The article in in Afrikaans, which is kind of like Dutch written by a 3 year old, so I can understand most of it. It's too hard to make a complete translation though, but it's about how to make crafting more popular amongst kids and young people, and about buying handmade in places like Etsy and DaWanda.
It has a quote from me about why it's nice to make your own things, and it says I have a shop on Etsy & DaWanda and my own shop at www.tizzalicious.com. Plus one of my pictures!!! In the web version of the article (here), the credits for the picture are the wrong ones, and my quote isn't there, so I was a little bummed when I saw that. I was worried it would be like that in the printed version too, but as you can see, it's right there. Phew!
