Ribbon Addicted Shopaholic

I'm a bit of a ribbon addict. I have rolls and rolls of different kinds in all colours and with all kinds of patterns. My favourite until now were the ones with polka dots. That was until I got these ones though! Look at them! Pink, red and green with skulls? Perfect!

What's your crafty addiction? Is there anything you just can't stop buying?

To be honest, it's not just ribbon for me. I am a bit of a craft store shopaholic. Okay, maybe not just a craftstore shopaholic, but a shopaholic in general.

I have these phases where I really get into something and can't stop buying it. I went from socks, to underwear, to bags, to hair clips, to necklaces, to fabric, to scrap book paper,... You get the point. The worst thing is, when I get new obsession, the old ones don't go away. I'm an obsession collector and my apartment is FULL!

  2. Lovely ribbon!

My weakness has to do with anything paper. Paper punches, templates, diecuts, writing instruments, adhesives, embellishments...the list goes on and on. :)

And yes, my addiction extends out into every aspect of my shopping experiences. I buy a lot of stuff. :)

  7. Pretty picture. I have an addiction to buying paint and tiles. I don't know why, but if I see some, I have to buy it. And, not new. No, it can't be new. It has to be all ready mixed paint or half boxes of tiles.

  8. Very cute ribbon. My weaknesses are beads, quilting fabric and yarn. I have a good sized dresser full of fabric and yarn, because the craft store down the street from my apt closed the store. I bought most of it at 40-60% off, and often buy 5 yarns (at 60% off) and get the 6th for a penny... Finally they ran out of stuff I wanted. So I bought a boxful of goodies (at 70-80% off) for my crafty aunt.

  17. I'm exactly the same, I could open my own shop with what I have.

How do you store your ribbon? In a tray?

I have all mine just thrown into a plastic bag as they're not all on reels and it's driving me nuts, I need some more organisation!

  22. I can totally relate... Michaels has this huge display of that ribbon... and I make little belts and bows for the kiddo... well! It makes my heart flutter, and even though my basket is already full of yarn (another addiction) I fill up with ribbon... but isn't it pretty :)

  23. Yay! Oh-so-cute ribbon! Especially the skulls. I'm an obsessive collector of so many things. Usually silly things. But my current crafty related obsession is old vintage velox (way out of date) photographic paper. Developed some photos on some a while back & there was just something kind of magical about it. So I've been obsessively searching for me to stockpile for a rainy day :)
