Who taught you how to sew, or do any other craft you do? My mom taught me how to sew when I was little. My sister and I spent ours making Barbie clothes using only the wheel on the machine because the pedal was too dangerous.
A few years later, when I was actually allowed to use the pedal, my mom and I made a fantastic outfit for me together, I wish I had a proper picture of it. I'm still happy she taught me how to sew!
When I started sewing Blythe dresses I figured it'd be easy. If I could sew Barbie clothes when I was 8, surely I would be able to make little Blythe outfits now too? I guess I didn't count in the fact that maybe I had lower standards back then! Or maybe sewing tiny clothes is easier with tiny fingers?
